# Requirements

Before you install Veeam App for ServiceNow, check the following requirements.

## Licensing

Veeam App for ServiceNow is provided free of charge. For Veeam Backup & Replication, you must have a Veeam Data Platform Universal License — Advanced or Premium edition.

## Dependencies

- Request the app from the ServiceNow Store to display it in the Application Manager. For more information, see [this ServiceNow article](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/bundle/xanadu-platform-administration/page/administer/servicenow-store/task/store-get-free-app.html).
- Activate the **ServiceNow IntegrationHub Professional Pack Installer** plug-in for your ServiceNow instance. For more information, see [this ServiceNow article](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/bundle/zurich-integrate-applications/page/administer/integrationhub/tasks/request-integrationhub.html).
- If you use a Windows-based Veeam Backup & Replication server, enable PowerShell Remoting to manage unstructured data backups.
