Backup and Restore of SQL Server Databases

Step 1: Check Required Ports

The following network ports must be opened to ensure proper communication of the Veeam backup server with the VM guest OS system during application-item restore.

Range of ports for iSCSI traffic. During restore the iSCSI initiator connects to the iSCSI target over one port from the range. Ports are open only during application item restore (Veeam Explorer session).
