Adding Scale-Out Repositories

    Before adding a scale-out backup repository, check prerequisites. Then use the New Scale-out Backup Repository wizard to configure the scale-out backup repository.

    1. Launch the New Scale-Out Backup Repository wizard
    2. Specify the scale-out backup repository name
    3. Add backup repository extents
    4. Specify the backup placement policy
    5. Finish working with the wizard
