Veeam Agent for IBM AIX is a data protection and disaster recovery solution for machines running IBM AIX operating systems.
The product offers a variety of features to protect your data. You can create an entire system image backup, back up specific directories with files or individual WPARs. Backups can be stored in an NFS directory mounted to the file system of your machine.
In case of a disaster, you can perform the following data restore operations:
- Boot your machine from the recovery image and use the Veeam Recovery Environment to perform bare-metal restore.
- Restore necessary files and directories.
- Restore individual WPARs.
