# Veeam Agent for Mac Status Bar Menu

When you close Veeam Agent control panel, Veeam Agent Status Bar Menu remains active and allows you to perform the following operations:

- If there is only one job configured in Veeam Agent, you can start and stop the job, as well as run an ad-hoc active full backup. For more information, see [Performing Backup](backup_tasks.md).
