# Performing Initial Setup

After you install Veeam Agent, you can use the [Veeam Agent for Orcale Solaris control panel](ui_overview_gui.md) to perform the initial product setup. When you launch the control panel for the first time, Veeam Agent displays the initial setup wizard. The wizard offers you to accept license agreements and install the product license.

To perform initial setup, launch the Veeam Agent control panel with the `veeam` or `veeamconfig ui` command. Then use the initial setup wizard to complete the following steps:
