Get-VEORDatabase

Syntax

Get-VEORDatabase [-Session] <VEORRestoreSession> [[-Name] <string[]>] [-OracleHome <string[]>][<CommonParameters>]

Detailed Description

This cmdlet returns an array of backed-up Oracle databases. After you get backed-up Oracle databases, you can restore these databases.

Run the Restore-VEORDatabase cmdlet to restore Oracle databases.

The cmdlet returns the VEORDatabase[] object that contains an array of backed-up Oracle databases.

This example shows how to get all Oracle databases added to an Oracle restore session.

$session = Get-VEORRestoreSession

Get-VEORDatabase -Session $session[0]

Perform the following steps:

  1. Run the Get-VEORRestoreSession cmdlet. Save the result to the $session variable.

The Get-VEORRestoreSession cmdlet will return an array of active restore sessions. Mind the ordinal number of the necessary restore session. In our example, it is the first restore session in the array.

  1. Run the Get-VEORDatabase cmdlet. Set the $session variable as the Session parameter value.

This example shows how to get the specific Oracle database added to an Oracle restore session.

$session = Get-VEORRestoreSession

Get-VEORDatabase -Session $session[0] -Name "Oracle Database"
