[This step is available if you have selected the Restore to a new location, or with different settings option at the Restore Mode step of the wizard.]

At the Network step of the wizard, configure network settings:

    1. In the Virtual Machine list, select the necessary VM instances and click Customize.
    2. From the VPC drop-down list, select a VPC network where the restored VM instances will be launched.

For a VPC network to be displayed in the lists of available networks, it must be created for the region specified at the Data Center step. For more information on how to create a network, see the Using VPC networks section in Google Cloud documentation.

    1. From the Subnet drop-down list, select a subnet where the restored VM instances will reside.

For a subnet to be displayed in the lists of available subnets, it must be created for the region specified at the Data Center step. For more information on how to create a subnet, see the Working with subnets section in Google Cloud documentation.

    1. In the Network tags and Static IP address fields, you can also choose whether you want the restored VM instances to have the same network tags and the same reserved static external IP address as the original VM instances.

    Note

A static external IP address can be assigned to a restored VM instance only if the original VM instance has this address reserved. To learn how to reserve static external IP addresses for VM instances, see the Reserving a static external IP address section in Google Cloud documentation.
