Adding Scale-Out Backup Repositories

Before you add a scale-out backup repository, check prerequisites. Then use the New Scale-out Backup Repository wizard to configure the scale-out backup repository.

  1. Launch New Scale-Out Backup Repository Wizard
  2. Specify Scale-Out Backup Repository Name
  3. Add Performance Extents
  4. Specify Backup Placement Policy
  5. Add Capacity Tier
  6. Finish Working with Wizard
