# Removing Data Masking Templates

Veeam Backup for Salesforce allows you to permanently remove a data masking template from the configuration database if you no longer need it.

To remove a template, do the following:

1. Switch to the **Configuration** page.
2. Navigate to **Salesforce** > **Data Masking Templates**.
3. Select the necessary template and click **Delete**.
4. In the **Remove Data Masking Template** window, acknowledge the operation and click **Remove**.
