# DrsInvocationFailedEvent

## Summary

DRS invocation failure: invocation was not completed.

## Causes

vCenter Server has failed to activate the DRS algorithm.

## Resolutions

Check DRS event history and log files. There may be an issue such as unavailable host, host in Maintenance Mode, or host which is in Standby mode and will not respond to wake-on-LAN.
