# TimedOutHostOperationEvent

## Summary

This event indicates that an operation performed on the host timed out.

## Causes

The operation performed on {host.name} in {datacenter.name} timed out.

Typically, a previous event in the sequence of events contains more information on the cause of the operation timing out.

## Resolutions

Timeout for remote command may exceed the default time-out value set in VI Client. This results in a time-out error and the operation fails.

Check previous event in the sequence of events for more information.
