Create New Monitoring Group When a more advanced configuration featuring multiple Collectors and monitoring groups is required, it is strongly advised to first configure the groups and Collector assignments before adding a vCenter Server connection. To add a new monitoring group, do the following: 1. Log in to the web UI using an account that is a member of the *Veeam Virtualization Extensions Users* local group. The web UI will open at the **Dashboard** tab. It can be seen that there are 3 (currently *Inactive*) Veeam Collectors available. 2. Navigate to **vSphere Monitoring** > **Veeam Collectors**. On the **Veeam Collectors** tab, the *Default Monitoring Group* is shown, containing 3 Collectors. 3. Click **Collector Group** > **Add**. 4. In the **Add New Group** wizard, enter a name for the new group and click **Save**. In this example, the *Development* group will be created to hold Collectors and jobs related to the *Development* vCenter Server.
