# Step 3. Rename Existing Monitoring Group

To rename the existing monitoring group, do the following:

1. Choose the *Default Monitoring Group* and click **Collector Group** > **Rename**.

2. In the **Rename Group** window, specify a new name for the group and click **Save**. In this example, the group name will be changed to *Production*.
