# vCenter Connection Failback

When the vCenter Server comes back online, the VE Service will detect that heartbeat is restored, the *Veeam VMware: Connection lost to VMware vCenter Server* monitor will reset to 'green' and trigger a further Recovery Action to automatically fail back the configuration, removing the direct-to-host connections and re-enabling the vCenter Server connection.
