# Adding Credentials

To add new credentials in Veeam App for ServiceNow, perform the following steps:

1. Click **All** > **Veeam** > **Unstructured Data** > **Data Source Credentials**.
2. Click **New**.
3. In the **Data Source Template** field, select a template that will be used with these credentials.
4. Specify credentials to access the data source. Add a description for the password if required.
5. In the **Type** field, select the account type:

    - *Standard* — a standard account. For more information, see the [Standard Accounts](https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbr/userguide/credentials_manager_windows.html) section in the Veeam Backup & Replication User Guide.
    - *Linux* — SSH credentials to connect to a Linux server or a Linux-based virtual machine. For more information, see the [SSH Credentials](https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbr/userguide/credentials_manager_linux.html) section in the Veeam Backup & Replication User Guide.

6. To allow a specific user group to use this credentials, unlock the **User Groups** field and select a user group from the list.
7. Click **Submit**.
