# Adding Correlations

To add a correlation, do the following:

1. In the main menu, click **Threat Management** > **Detection Rules** > **Correlations**.
2. Click **Add Correlation** and specify required fields. For convenience, you can use Veeam [correlation rule templates](xsiam_correlations_templates.md).

    An example for the [Job Deleted](xsiam_correlations_templates.md#job-deleted) correlation:

To configure the correlation rule properly, make sure that the dataset name you specify in the query begins with *veeam_*. For more details, see [Configuring Syslog Collectors](xsiam_configure_syslog_collectors.md).
