# Dates

In Veeam technical documentation, we use the American (US) date format that begins with the month and ends with the year. The same applies to the all-numeric date format (mm/dd/yyyy).

For example, the 14th day of the month September, in the year 1987, can be written as [September 14, 1987]{.mdhl-correct}, [September 14th, 1987]{.mdhl-correct}, [Monday, September 14, 1987]{.mdhl-correct} or [09/14/1987]{.mdhl-correct}.
