# Topic Types

There are 3 types of topics used in Veeam technical documentation:

- [Concept](concept_topic.md)
- [Task](task_topic.md)
- [Reference](reference_topic.md)

When writing documentation, you will encounter a number of topics that are not covered by this Style Guide (it can be something like *Ports*, *System Requirements*, *Considerations and Limitations* or *Usage Scenarios*). Since the structure of these topics is unique for every product and document, it is recommended that you follow the pattern that has already been used by the product owners before you. If you need to create a topic that does not exist in a document yet, study all other existing Veeam documents to find the structure that best suits your case.
