Managing Chargeback Templates

To calculate the cost of services provided to departments, Veeam Availability Console uses chargeback templates. A chargeback template defines for what services you will charge departments, charge rates for these services, payment currency, and so on.

Subscription plans are assigned to managed departments. Veeam Availability Console calculates the cost of services provided to a department based on its chargeback template. Each department can have only one chargeback template assigned to it.

You can create multiple chargeback templates for different pricing tiers or provided service levels. For example, if you use the SLA model, you can create chargeback templates for different service levels, and then assign chargeback templates to departments based on their SLA.
