Veeam Availability Orchestrator 1.0
Deployment Guide

Step 12. Check Configuration

As soon as the registration procedure is complete, the VAO UI will perform a logoff, and you will have to log in once again, but this time using the credentials of a Site Administrator.

Navigate to Sites and check whether the Production VAO server appeared in the list of registered servers.

Registering VAO Server in a Production Site

Step 12. Check Configuration Important!

If you move your DR VAO server to another VM for some reason (for example, due to the DR site failure), you can connect the Production VAO server to the new DR VAO site. To do that, click Edit and complete the Edit Production Site wizard. At the DR Site Server step, specify the FQDN name or IP address of the target VAO server in the new DR site.

However, since the new DR VAO server will consider the Production VAO server to be registered in a new site, you will have to reconfigure all site settings and recreate all failover plans for the Production VAO site.
