Performing File-Level Restore
In case a disaster strikes, you can recover corrupted or missing files of an EFS file system from an EFS backup or backup copy. Veeam Backup for AWS allows you to restore files and folders to a new file system created in the original location of the source file system or in a new location.
How EFS File-Level Restore Works
To recover files and folders of a backed-up file system, Veeam Backup for AWS performs the following steps:
- Creates a new file system in the specified location.
- Modifies the configuration setting values of the created EFS file system.
- Restores specified backed-up files and folders to the new file system.
