At the Service Provider step of the wizard, you can add your Azure AD application to the selected Microsoft Azure Active Directory group. You may want to add an AD application to a group, for example, if you are a service provider and want to create backups of Azure resources of your tenants via Azure LightHouse. Adding an AD application to a group makes resources of such a group available to you at the Specify Resources step of the Add Policy wizard.
To add an AD application to the group, do the following:
- Select the Add specified application to this AD group check box.
- In the drop-down list, select a group to which you want to add an application.
