Revoking License

Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure automatically removes a license unit from a protected Microsoft Azure VM if no new restore point has been created for it within 31 days. However, you can revoke license units from protected Microsoft Azure VMs manually. Revoking license units can be helpful, for example, if you removed some Microsoft Azure VMs from a backup policy and do not want to protect them anymore.

To revoke the license, do the following:

  1. In the System Menu, click Configuration.
  2. In the inventory pane, in the Server Settings section, select Licensing.
  3. Open the License Usage tab.
  4. Select VMs that you no longer want to protect.
  5. Click Revoke License.

There is a misspelling right here:

I want to let the Veeam Documentation Team know about that.
