Step 7. Select Virtual Network

[This step is available if you perform a restore to a new location or with different settings.]

At the Network step of the wizard, you can change network properties of the selected Microsoft Azure VM.

To change network properties, do the following:

  1. Select a Microsoft Azure VM and click Properties.
  2. In the Network Properties window, do the following:
  1. In the Select virtual network drop-down list, select a virtual network to which you want to attach the selected Microsoft Azure VMs after a restore.

Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure automatically populates this list with virtual networks that are available in your Azure environment. You can select any virtual network from the list.

  1. In the Select subnet drop-down list, select a subnet of the selected virtual network.

Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure automatically populates this list with all subnets that belong to the selected virtual network. You can select any subnet from the list.

  1. In the Select network security group drop-down list, select a security group.

Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure automatically populates this list with network security groups that are available in your Azure environment. You can select any network security group from the list.

  1. Click Apply.
