Configuration

To start working with Veeam Backup & Replication, perform a number of steps:

1. Add Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure appliances to the backup infrastructure.
2. Add repositories that will be used to store backed-up data.
3. Configure the added Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure appliances:

1. Add Azure accounts to get access to Azure services and resources. For more information, see the Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure User Guide, section Managing Accounts.
2. Add user accounts to control access to Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure. For more information, see the Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure User Guide, section Managing User Accounts.
3. Create worker configurations. For more information, see the Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure User Guide, section Managing Worker Instances.
4. Configure global retention, email notification and single sign-on settings. For more information, see the Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure User Guide, section Configuring General Settings.
