Adding ADB Mailbox Store

To add all databases storing Microsoft Office 365 Organization data to the Veeam Explorer scope, do the following:

  1. Open Veeam Explorer for Microsoft Exchange.
  2. On the Home tab click Add Store > Veeam Backup for Office 365 server. You can also right-click All Stores node in the navigation pane and select the corresponding context menu command:

  1. Specify connection settings for the Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 server.
  • Provide a server name or server IP-address,
  • Provide a service port. By default the service port is 9194.
  • Provide a user account to access the Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 server. You can select Use Windows credentials if your current account has sufficient permissions.

Adding ADB Mailbox Store 

  1. Click Connect.

Once Veeam Explorer for Microsoft Exchange is connected to the Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 server you will be able to see the database content in the navigation pane.

Important!

If you have Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 and Veeam Explorer for Microsoft Exchange deployed on different machines, you can explore backed up Exchange Online databases only if you add them to the application scope by opening Veeam Explorer for Microsoft Exchange first and then connecting to the Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 server.
