Deploying to Azure and AWS

Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 can be deployed to Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platforms according to the following steps:

Install Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 on an Azure or AWS virtual machine. For more information, see Installing Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365.

Alternatively, you can deploy Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 from Azure Marketplace and AWS Marketplace.

When deploying to Azure, you can use F-Series VM Sizes for better performance.

Configure additional backup proxy servers. For more information, see Backup Proxy Servers.

Configure backup repositories. For more information, see Backup Repositories.
Install Veeam Explorer for Microsoft Exchange, Veeam Explorer for Microsoft SharePoint and Veeam Explorer for Microsoft Teams. For more information, see Installing Veeam Explorer for Microsoft Exchange, Installing Veeam Explorer for Microsoft SharePoint and Installing Veeam Explorer for Microsoft Teams.

After deployment is complete, you can:

Add Microsoft Office 365 and on-premises Microsoft organizations to the program scope. For more information, see Organization Management.
Create new backups. For more information, see Data Backup.
View and restore your data. For more information, see Data Restore.
