## Detailed Description
This cmdlet enables application backup policies.

Run the [`Disable-VBRApplicationBackupJob`](disable-vbrapplicationbackupjob.md) cmdlet to disable application backup policies.

This cmdlet returns the `VBRApplicationBackupJobBase[]` object that contains settings of enabled application backup policies.

This example shows how to enable the `DbsSrv2049` application backup policy.

Perform the following steps:

1. Run the [`Get-VBRApplicationBackupJob`](get-vbrapplicationbackupjob.md) cmdlet. Specify the `Name` parameter value. Save the result to the `$job` variable.
2. Run the `Enable-VBRApplicationBackupJob` cmdlet. Set the `$job` variable as the `Job` parameter value.
