Licensing Terms

The rental program offers two licensing term options, unlocking different contract lengths:

    • No Commit rental agreements offer limited contract terms to use Veeam solutions for 30 days. Each month that you report usage of Veeam, the contract and corresponding license keys are extended an additional 30 days.
    • Volume Rental Agreements (VRAs) offer longer licensing terms in exchange for a minimum commitment each month. For example, a commitment to 200 points of consumption across Veeam installations. License keys remain active for the contract length and can be extended in conjunction with a VRA extension or upgrade.

License keys can be self-service configured and cut for either rental agreement term option in the VCSP Pulse partner portal.

To ensure license keys remain active and co-termed with your rental agreement, Veeam recommends employing the Automated License Key (ALK) function in all installations.
