You can create new folders to organize files in the Azure VM guest file system.
Before you create folders, make sure that the Azure VM is connected to Veeam FastSCP for Microsoft Azure and running. For details on configuring connections to Azure VMs, see Connecting Azure VMs.
To create a folder:
1.Open the Virtual Machines view.
2.In the Machines list on the left, choose the necessary Azure VM and expand its folder tree.
3.Do one of the following:
▪Select a disk or folder in which a new folder must be created and click Create Folder on the ribbon.
▪Right-click a disk or folder in which a new folder must be created and choose Create Folder.
Veeam FastSCP for Microsoft Azure will create a folder named New Folder.
4.Change the name of the new folder and press [Enter], or click anywhere in the Veeam FastSCP for Microsoft Azure interface.
Permissions for folders you create are inherited from its parent directory. If you want to change these permissions, you must do it from within the guest OS of the Azure VM.
