You can delete files and folders from the Azure VM guest file system. When you choose to delete files or folders, Veeam FastSCP for Microsoft Azure deletes them permanently: you cannot recover items deleted in Veeam FastSCP for Microsoft Azure.

Before you delete files or folders, make sure that the Azure VM is connected to Veeam FastSCP for Microsoft Azure and running. For details on configuring connections to Azure VMs, see Connecting Azure VMs.
