Installing Veeam FastSCP for Microsoft Azure

Before you install Veeam FastSCP for Microsoft Azure, make sure that the machine where you plan to install the product satisfies hardware and software requirements. For details, see System Requirements.

To install Veeam FastSCP for Microsoft Azure:

1.Download the Veeam FastSCP for Microsoft Azure setup file from http://www.veeam.com/downloads.html. Save the file on the machine where you plan to install the product.

2.Run the Veeam.FastSCP.Azure.msi file to start the setup wizard.

You must run the setup as a local Administrator or a user that has Administrator privileges on the machine where the product is installed.

3.On the welcome screen of the wizard, click Next.

4.At the End-User License Agreement step of the wizard, read the license agreement. Select the I accept the terms of the License Agreement check box.

To print the license agreement text, click Print.

5.At the Destination Folder step of the wizard, change the installation directory if necessary.

By default, the product is installed to folder C:\Program Files\Veeam\FastSCP for Azure\. To choose a different installation folder, click Change and specify a path to the necessary folder.

6.At the Ready to install Veeam FastSCP for Microsoft Azure step of the wizard, click Install.

7.When installation completes, click Finish to close the setup wizard.

8.[Optional] After installation, it is recommended to exclude folder C:\ProgramData\Veeam\FastSCP\ConfigDB from antivirus real-time scanning.
