Step 3. Configure Alerts for Veeam Backup & Replication Events

In this article

To receive alerts about Veeam Backup & Replication events, you need to associate the Veeam Backup & Replication event set with the Veeam Backup event log on backup servers, specify alerting conditions and set actions that will be taken in response to alerts.

    1. In the Kaseya console, go to Monitor > Agent Monitoring > Event Log Alerts.
    2. Go to the Assign Event Set tab.
    3. From the Select event log type list, select Veeam Backup.
    4. From the Define events to match or ignore list, select one of the following event sets:
    • Veeam Backup & Replication Alerts — if you plan to monitor only warning and error events
    • Veeam Backup & Replication — if you plan to monitor all events, including informative, warning and error events
    1. Select the necessary event categories and specify other alert settings as required.
    2. Go to the Set Alert Actions tab and set the necessary response actions for alerts. As a response action to an alert, you can choose to:
    • Create an alarm (the alarm will be available in the Active Alarms view)
    • Create a ticket
    • Run  a script
    • Send an email
    1. In the lower part of the screen, select check boxes next to backup servers to which the configured alert must be applied.
    2. Click Apply.
