Backup Servers

In this article

The Backup Servers view displays the hierarchy of:

    • Machines running Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager & Veeam Backup & Replication
    • Virtual infrastructure servers added to the list of managed servers in Veeam Backup & Replication

You can remove specific machines from the Veeam backup servers list. Removal might be required if you no longer want to monitor a specific backup server (for example, the backup server was decommissioned, or you assigned the agent procedure to a non-backup server by mistake). After a machine is removed, configuration and state details that were collected from this machine are no longer available on the dashboard, views and reports.

To remove a Veeam backup server:

    1. In the Kaseya console, go to Veeam Backup & Replication > Configuration > Backup Servers.
    2. Click Remove next to the machine that you want to withdraw.
    3. If you have scheduled the agent procedure for the removed server, you also must cancel the schedule. Depending on the method that you used for scheduling backup data collection, do one of the following:
    • Go to Policy Management > Assignment > Machines and select the removed backup server. In the Policies Assigned to this Machine list, choose the Veeam policy and click Remove.
    • Go to Agent Procedures > Manage Procedures > Schedule/Create. On the Schedule tab, select the removed server and click Cancel.

    1. In the Kaseya console, go to Veeam Backup & Replication > Configuration > Backup Servers.
    2. Click Restore next to the machine that you want to add.
    3. If necessary, schedule the agent procedure as described in Scheduling Backup Data Collection.
