To let you work with Veeam Endpoint Backup backup jobs, monitor and report on the status of endpoint data protection, Veeam Endpoint Backup for LabTech collects Veeam Endpoint Backup data from managed endpoints.
To collect Veeam Endpoint Backup data, the plug-in utilizes the Collect Veeam Endpoint Backup data script. The script is assigned to the Veeam Endpoint Backup group which includes all endpoints with Veeam Endpoint Backup installed and activated.
By default, the Collect Veeam Endpoint Backup data script is scheduled to run every 12 hours, with the exclusion interval 1:00АМ – 6:00АМ. For the first time, the script will start in 2 hours after the installation.
If you want to collect data immediately after installation, or change the script schedule:
1.In the LabTech Control Center, choose endpoints for which you want to collect data or change the schedule:
▪To collect data or change the schedule for all managed endpoints, expand Groups and right-click the Veeam Endpoint Backup group.
▪To collect data or change the schedule for a specific client, location or computer, expand the Clients tree and right-click the necessary node.
2.Choose the script that will collect Veeam Endpoint Backup data:
▪[For LabTech 11] From the shortcut menu, select Scripts > Veeam Endpoint Backup > Collect Veeam Endpoint Backup data.
▪[For LabTech 10.5] From the shortcut menu, select Scripts > Backup and Recovery > Veeam Endpoint Backup > Collect Veeam Endpoint Backup data.
3.In the Run Script window, specify how often the script must run:
▪To collect data once, select Once and specify collection start date and time.
▪To collect data according to a custom schedule, select Minute, Hourly, Daily, Weekly or Monthly.
When the script runs for the first time, it imports data from Veeam Endpoint Backup. After that, each new run of the script gathers up-to-date information from the managed endpoints.
