Configuring Veeam Endpoint Backup for LabTech

As part of the installation, Veeam Endpoint Backup for LabTech performs initial configuration:

1.Discovers endpoints that have Veeam Endpoint Backup software installed.

2.Populates two groups:

Veeam Endpoint Backup group is populated with managed endpoints (computers on which Veeam Endpoint Backup has been activated).

Veeam Endpoint Backup FREE group is populated with unmanaged endpoints (computers on which Veeam Endpoint Backup runs in the FREE mode).

3.Assigns to the Veeam Endpoint Backup group a set of monitors and scripts.

If necessary, you can change the default script scheduling settings and monitor configuration.

Modifying Monitor Configuration

To modify the default monitor configuration:

1.In the LabTech Control Center, locate the Veeam Endpoint Backup group:

[For LabTech 11] In the Control Center menu, expand Groups and double-click the Veeam Endpoint Backup group.

[For LabTech 10.5] In the Control Center menu, expand Groups > Backup Management and double-click the Veeam Endpoint Backup group.

2.In the group properties window, open Computers > Remote Monitors and select the necessary monitor in the list.

3.Customize the default monitor settings, create overrides for specific endpoints or change the monitor response actions.

4.Click Update.

Modifying Script Scheduling Settings

To modify default script scheduling settings:

1.In the LabTech Control Center, locate the Veeam Endpoint Backup group:

[For LabTech 11] In the Control Center menu, expand Groups and double-click the Veeam Endpoint Backup group.

[For LabTech 10.5] In the Control Center menu, expand Groups > Backup Management and double-click the Veeam Endpoint Backup group.

2.In the group properties window, open Computers > Scheduled scripts and select the necessary script in the list.

3.In the Schedule section, specify the schedule according to which the script must run.

4.Click Update.
