With Veeam Endpoint Backup for LabTech, you can manage Veeam Endpoint Backup and its data protection operations in the LabTech Control Center. After you install the plug-in, you must perform the following steps:

1.Install Veeam Endpoint Backup on endpoints.

You can install Veeam Endpoint Backup from the LabTech Control Center, or install the product in a regular way — either using the setup wizard, or the command line interface.

2.Activate Veeam Endpoint Backup.

If you installed Veeam Endpoint Backup on a computer in a regular way (not from the LabTech Control Center), you must activate Veeam Endpoint Backup manually. If you installed Veeam Endpoint Backup from the LabTech Control Center, this step is not required as the software is activated automatically.

3.[Optional] Enable the read-only access mode for Veeam Endpoint Backup.

To prevent end users from changing Veeam Endpoint Backup settings, and performing restore, you can enable the Veeam Endpoint Backup read-only access mode.

4.Collect Veeam Endpoint Backup data.

Wait for Veeam Endpoint Backup for LabTech to collect Veeam Endpoint Backup data. You can change the default data collection schedule or collect data manually to speed up the collection process.

5.Configure backup job settings.

Configure Veeam Endpoint Backup job settings on managed endpoints.

6.Configure Veeam Endpoint Backup settings.

Configure Veeam Endpoint Backup global settings on managed endpoints.

After you perform these steps, you can start and stop Veeam Endpoint Backup jobs, monitor the status of backup sessions, create reports and restore data from the Veeam Recovery Media.
