After the OS has loaded, the endpoint will be displayed in the LabTech Client tree. The name of an endpoint that is booted from the recovery image has the VeeamRE prefix. Note that the endpoint can be detected by the Veeam Endpoint Backup for LabTech only if the following conditions are met at the time when the Veeam Recovery Media is created:

The LabTech agent and Veeam Endpoint Backup are installed on the endpoint

Veeam Endpoint Backup has been activated

ScreenConnect Client is installed on the endpoint (required only if you plan to connect to the recovered endpoint using ScreenConnect)

Otherwise, Veeam Endpoint Backup for LabTech will not be able to detect the endpoint and display it in the LabTech Client tree.

Connecting to Endpoint Using LabVNC or TightVNC

You can use LabVNC or TightVNC to connect to the endpoint.

NOTE:

LabVNC and TightVNC are only available on LabTech 10 and on LabTech 10.5 that was upgraded from LabTech 10. On a clean LabTech 10.5 installation, LabVNC and TightVNC are not available.

For example, to connect to the endpoint using the LabVNC:

1.In the LabTech Control Center, right-click the endpoint and choose LabVNC from the shortcut menu.

2.In the Explain Remote Control window, click OK to start the remote connection session.
