This monitor tracks the vCenter Alarm 'Virtual Machine network adapter reservation status'.
By default, the alarm is triggered by the following event:
|▪||com.vmware.vc.vm.VmAdapterResvSatisfiedEvent: Requirements to reservation of network resources are satisfied.|
|▪||com.vmware.vc.vm.VmAdapterResvNotSatisfiedEvent: Requirements to reservation of network resources cannot be satisfied.|
Check that enough network adapters are available on the virtual switch for the bandwidth reservation to be satisfied. Add more NICs, if possible, or reduce network resources reservation for a VM or a group of VMs. See the ESXi and vCenter Server 6.0 Documentation for more information on configuring bandwidth allocation for a virtual machine.
