Before you add a cloud gateway, check the following prerequisites:
- The server that will perform the role of a cloud gateway must the following requirements:
- The cloud gateway can be a physical or virtual machine.
- The cloud gateway must run Microsoft Windows OS.
- An SSL certificate must be installed on the SP Veeam backup server.
