Delete a vCD Resource

You can unassign a vCloud Director Organization from a reseller by deleting a vCloud Director resource with the specified ID.

Request

To delete a vCloud Director resource, send the DELETE HTTPS request to the URL of the /resellers/{ID}/vcdResources/{ID} resource.

HTTP Request

DELETE https://<Availability-Console>:1281/v2/resellers/{ID}/vcdResources/{ID}

Request Headers

The request header must contain the authorization token for the current logon session.

Response

The server returns the following response to the client.

Response Code

A successfully completed operation returns response code 200 Success.

Example Delete a vCD Resource

The following example deletes a vCloud Director resource with ID 1 from a company with ID 1.

DELETE https://localhost:1281/v2/resellers/1/vcdResources/1

Authorization: Bearer <Access-Token>

Response Code:

200 Success

Response Body:

"vCloud Director resources have been deleted."
