Performing Volume Restore

In case a disaster strikes, you can restore corrupted EBS volumes of an EC2 instance from a cloud-native snapshot, a snapshot replica or an image-level backup. Veeam Backup for AWS allows you to restore EBS volumes to the original location or to a new location.

You can restore EBS volumes only using the Veeam Backup for AWS Web UI. To learn how to restore EBS volumes, see the Veeam Backup for AWS User Guide, section Performing Volume-Level Restore.
