New Operations

This section lists new operations introduced in REST API v7.0:

• Authentication using Microsoft 365 account or Google accounts was added to send audit email notifications and Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 email notifications:

• Audit Email Notification Settings: Prepare to Authentication Request, Complete Authentication.
• Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 Email Notification Settings: Prepare to Authentication Request, Complete Authentication.

• Creating a restore session for a backup repository: Create Restore Session for Backup Repository by Repository ID.
• Exporting posts by restore operator in a file in the HTML format for a specified channel or a specified team: Get Exported Posts by Restore Operator, Get Exported Posts by Restore Operator.
• Getting changes that appeared during job sessions starting from the initial backup/backup copy or from a specified change token: Get Changes.
• Getting changes that appeared in restore points starting from the initial backup/backup copy or from a specified change token: Get Changes.
• Getting objects processed by a job session: Get Processed Objects.
• Getting protected groups: Get Groups.
• Getting protected users: Get Users.
• Getting restore points created by Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 for organization users currently logged in to Restore Portal: Get Restore Points.
• Getting tabs, posts and files contained in a Microsoft Teams channel: Get Teams Items of Channel.
• Getting versions of a Microsoft Teams file: Get All Versions of File.
• Log out of an authorized user: Log Out.
• New methods to get statistic information on Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 licensing and to submit a license usage report were added: License Usage Report.
• Restore by restore operator was added for Microsoft Teams channel, files, posts, tabs and teams: Restore Channel by Restore Operator, Restore Files by Restore Operator, Restore Posts by Restore Operator, Restore Channel Tabs by Restore Operator, Restore Tabs of Multiple Channels by Restore Operator, Restore Teams by Restore Operator.
• Synchronization of Microsoft organization objects with the organization cache database was added: Synchronization of Organization Objects.
