Step 8. Copy Backup Files

If backup files reside on local backup repositories of the old Veeam Cloud Connect server, copy them to the machine that runs the new Veeam Cloud Connect server.

The files that reside on the Default Backup Repository of the old Veeam Cloud Connect server must be copied to the Default Backup Repository of the new Veeam Cloud Connect server. The default path is C:\Backup.

If any tenant backup files reside on a local repository which is not a Default Backup Repository, do the following:

1. Copy these backup files from the old Veeam Cloud Connect server to any repository on the new Veeam Cloud Connect server.
2. In the tenant account settings, change the old backup repository to the one where the backup files were copied. For more information, see Allocate Backup Resources.
