Create a vCD Resource

You can create a vCloud Director resource by allocating a vCloud Director Organization to a company with the specified ID.

Request

To create a vCloud Director resource, send the POST HTTPS request to the URL of the /tenants/{ID}/vcdResources resource.

POST https://<hostname>:1281/v2/tenants/{ID}/vcdResources

Request Headers

The request header must contain the authorization token.

Request Body

In the request body, the client must send the following properties for the vCloud Director resource that must be assigned to the company:

  • dataCenterUid
  • isWanAccelerationEnabled
  • wanAcceleratorUid

Response

The server returns the following response to the client.

A successfully completed operation returns response code 201 Created.
