Add Credentials Record

You can add a new SMTP server credentials record to the Veeam Backup for AWS configuration database.

Request

To add a new credetials record, send the HTTP POST request to the /accounts/standard endpoint.

To specify credentials and description of the new record, send the following parameters in the request body.

Note

Before you add an SMTP server credentials record, you can check whether a name you plan to specify as a record name in Veeam Backup for AWS is unique. For more information, see Validate Credential Record Name.

Response

The server returns the following response to the client.

A successfully completed operation returns a response code 201 (Created).

In the response body, Veeam Backup for AWS returns a representation of the added record. The StandardAccount schema is used for the resource representation.
