Host
Object | Counter | Instance | Definition |
_Total | Average number of commands issued per second on the storage adapter during the collection interval.
_Total | Number of aborted and reset SCSI commands for disks on this host in the last interval.
_Total | Rolled up total of CPU Co-Stop metric for all virtual machines on the host, expressed as a percentage.
_Total | Time that the CPU spent in an idle state.
_Total | Rolled up total of CPU latency for all virtual machines on the host, expressed as a percentage.
_Total | CPU Pressure is a percentage which expresses CPU overcommitment, by showing the ratio of virtual machine vCPU count versus the number of host physical CPU cores. This metric is unique to the Veeam MP for VMware and cannot be seen in vCenter. This metric is based on the setting available in the Veeam Extensions UI named 'RecommendedvCPUPerCore'. This setting can be changed in the Veeam Extensions UI, on the Veeam Collectors tab, using Collector Settings link. This setting is used to calculate the cpuPressure metric per vSphere host by converting the ratio to a percentage. When the host is running total vCPUs (for powered-on VMs) on all host cores equal to the 'RecommendedvCPUPerCore' setting, then the cpuPressure metric will be equal to 100%. If the number of vCPU per Core is exceeded, then this metric can be greater than 100%. The metric per-host is rolled up to calculate a total percentage of CPU overcommit for the cluster.
_Total | Rolled up total of CPU Ready time for all virtual machines on the host, expressed as a percentage.
_Total | Aggregated CPU usage across all cores on the host (in MHz).
_Total | The percentage of the last interval (0-100%) that the physical server CPU was busy.
_Total | Total number of dropped network packets during the collection interval.
_Total | Maximum amount of time, in milliseconds, spent by VMKernel processing each SCSI command. It is the maximum of read, write and command latency.
_Total | Highest total latency value across all disks used by the host.
_Total | Amount of memory that is actively used by the host, as estimated by VMkernel based on recently touched memory pages.
_Total | Total amount of memory (in MB) still available. This is the difference between the system total memory and memory currently being consumed. see VMware Resource Management Guide for more information on VMware memory usage.
_Total | Available memory relative to total memory installed on the host (in percent).
_Total | Amount of memory processed by the virtual machine memory control driver (vmmemctl) for all VMs running on the host, expressed as a percentage.
_Total | Percentage of time the VMs on the host are waiting to access swapped or compressed memory.
_Total | This metric is expressed as a percentage, which can go above 100%. It shows potential memory over-commitment issues on the vSphere host. This value is calculated internally in the Veeam Collector, so is not visible in vCenter. Factors used in the calculation include - Total allocated memory for powered-on VMs, memory overhead, the effects of TPS (Transparent Page Sharing), and total available physical memory in the host.
_Total | The average amount of shared memory. Shared memory represents the entire pool of memory from which sharing savings are possible.
_Total | Total amount of virtual machines' memory swapped out to disk.
_Total | The rate of KB swapped (in plus out) per second during the interval.
_Total | Physical memory usage on the host in MB. The metric is equivalent to the VMware metric memory consumed.
_Total | Memory used divided by total physical memory, as a percentage.
_Total | Total number of paths to storage on the host.
_Total | Rolled up total in KB for all network traffic through all vmnic on the host.
_Total | Rolled up total in KB for all disk traffic through all vmhba on the host.
_Total | Total number of configured vCPUs for all VMs on this host.
_Total | Number of active (for example, powered up) virtual machines running on this host.
_Total | Number of virtual machines in a shutdown (for example, powered off) state on this host.
_Total | Number of virtual machines in a suspended state on this host.
_Total | Total number of all virtual machines on this host. |
