Enable-VBRProtectionGroup

Short Description

Enables automatic discovery for the protection group computers.

Syntax

Enable-VBRProtectionGroup -ProtectionGroup <VBRProtectionGroup[]> [-WhatIf] [-Confirm]  [<CommonParameters>]

Detailed Description

This cmdlet enables automatic discovery for selected protection groups. Automatic discovery is performed per discovery schedule configured for the protection group.

To disable automatic discovery, run Disable-VBRProtectionGroup.

Example

This example shows how to enable automatic discovery for the computers of the protection group.

You will need to perform the following steps:

  1. Run Get-VBRProtectionGroup to get the protection group. Save the result to the $group variable.
  2. Run Enable-VBRProtectionGroup with the $group variable.

$group = Get-VBRProtectionGroup -Name "East Computers"

Enable-VBRProtectionGroup -ProtectionGroup $group
