Remove-VBRTapeMedium

Removes the selected tapes from tape catalog.

Syntax

Remove-VBRTapeMedium -Medium <VBRTapeMedium[]> [-WhatIf] [-Confirm] [<CommonParameters>]

Detailed Description

This cmdlet removes the selected tapes and the data written to the tapes from the tape catalog and Veeam backup database.

You can remove only offline tapes.

Remove-VBRTapeMedium Note:

You cannot remove protected tapes.
